How do you follow up a year of maturing into your full potential as you bloomed? You embrace it.
Setting my intention for the year by choosing a word is something I have been doing every January for the past six years. It gives me a focus- a theme for the year. I concentrate everything I do around that vision. Whenever I feel discouraged or disconnected, this word reminds me to remain calm and be fully present in the moment.
My words of the year have reminded me to be bold; to be intentional and inspirational, I have manifested, thrived, and bloomed.
I loved my word last year, Bloom. It was the perfect word to remind me to take root and bloom into my true potential. But sometimes I moved through it too quickly or did not take the time to be present. In 2023, I will EMBRACE all that I am in every moment.
The dictionary defines embrace as an act of accepting or supporting something willingly and enthusiastically.
I've too easily second guessed my choices or dwelled on the negative of a job, situation, or relationship. I have gotten lost in the tasks and goals, forgetting to celebrate my wins. Why? Because I didn’t embrace them. If I remember to embrace it, good or bad, it sets me up to live in the moment, to be all in.
If you are still looking for a word that will give you purpose or inspiration, here are some questions to help you discover what you need more of in your life in 2023.
